Coming to Summer Sizzle

Even though this post is late, I figured that there still might be some people who are interested in attending Summer Sizzle.

Throughout the post I will be providing snaps that I have taken of the BVI.

All Summer Sizzle events will be taking place in Tortola, a part of the British Virgin Islands. The BVI is conveniently located east of Puerto Rico and is just a short twenty-five-minute flight away from there.

The BVI is a British overseas territory and the BVI is filled with wonders, luxuries, and sceneries and is surrounded by tranquil waters. It comes to no surprise that the BVI is quite often dubbed as ‘Nature’s Little Secret’.

The BVI is a relatively easy place to get to albeit the plane fares aren’t cheap. If coming from the UK, it may mean travelling to the US and getting on a connecting flight either to US Virgin Islands (US owned territory) or Puerto Rico.

From the US, depending on which state, you could take a plane from there to the USVI or Puerto Rico.

If you’re in Puerto Rico, most of the smaller flights provide a straight ride yo the Terrance B. Lettesome International Airport, which is located at Beef Island, Tortola. Beef Island is connected to Tortola by the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge. Once on the main land, it should take no more than fifteen minutes to get to the town.

If landing in USVI, you would have to take a taxi from the Cyril E. King Airport to the Charlotte Amalie Dock in the main town. Once there, it’s as simple as buying a ticket for one of the ferries travelling to the Road Town Dock on Tortola.

Whichever route you choose, you are sure to find how surprisingly easy it is to get around in the town area.
