Golden Globes Red Carpet 2017

This year begins with its first fashion review — Golden Globes. The red carpet event is just as spectacular as the award ceremony itself, and as promised, I’m here to give my reviews on some of the best red carpet fashion I’ve seen.

Most times, yellow us a difficult color to pull off, but in Natalie’s case, the yellow is a stunner.

Clean and simple structure, a solid color and a voluminous look, creates a dress that uniquely embodies class in unusual sort of way.

Just admit: you’ve never floral print quite like this before. Olivia rocks this bold look with attitude. The first thing that I noticed about this dress was its shape.

The beautiful gathered waist and structured crisscross bodice exemplifies the fluidity between drape and structure.

Emma Stone in Valentino

Emma graces the red carpet with her charm and sophistication. A dress like this is always hard to pull off, but Emma makes it work for her.the fluidity of the dress compensates for the color, which often may make someone of Emma’s complexion appear ‘washed out’.

However, in Emma’s case, it actually gave her more color, which is a plus.

Imagine seeing this dress on the red carpet!

Some of us (admittedly) may have mixed feelings about a dress like this, but we must admit that it takes a whole lot of courage to wear his dress on the red carpet.

And courage is exactly what Naomi has. This bold look might not he everyone’s cup of year, but Naomi owned the dress. I love the line work and structure that makes the dress stand out.

Here is another dress that has its place in uniqueness. Or course, not everyone fancies a not-so-modern ball gown of a dress, but this is one of those dresses that finds its way on the red carpet — and slays.

Lily is one of those women who can slay in this dress. Rose embroidery, satin and organza; a combination that is definitely not for the faint of heart.

Welcome to luxurious satin hat reminds you of silky lingerie and a romantic (but steamy) night in bed. If you can picture the rose petals and the chocolate-dipped strawberries, then you can picture this dress.

Of course, then, you may ask but why a dress that reminds someone of a night gown? But then again, why not? This dress is the perfect combination of simple and elegant and gives a fresh take on the red carpet event.

There were many pants suits on the carpet, but none quite like this. As a curvy woman, Octavia stepped up to the challenge of wearing a pants suit and it worked!

She kept it simple, clean, elegant and dark and those are the kind of combinations that make a woman like her stand out. A perfectly tailored and fitted suit that flatters her figure and illuminates her beauty.

Is white without the wedding dress look hard to pull off?

Not when it comes to Gillian. Chiffon and tulle are hose types of fabrics you may want to avoid in white, bit Gilliam keeps that sheer texture and indulges in it. It works for her and she manages to do so in a fresh-face and stunning manner.

These were my top eight pics. Keep reading my blog for more updates on my events and for more reviews like these.
